New York State
New York requires annual sexual harassment prevention training for all employees, including part-time and temporary workers. Illinois
Under the Workplace Transparency Act, Illinois employers are required to provide annual sexual harassment prevention training. Restaurants and bars face additional training requirements. The course content aligns with Illinois Human Rights Act standards and the model training program provided by the Illinois Department of Human Rights.
California
California’s SB 1343 requires employers with five or more employees to provide two hours of training to supervisors and one hour to all non-supervisory employees every two years.
