# Set a Minimum Booking Notice

1. If you don’t want to get an appointment without a few minutes’ notice, you can set a minimum time between each meeting.
2. Go into your **“Event Types”**section, and select the event you wish to configure by clicking on the event itself.

3. Click on the **“Show advanced settings”** button.

5. This will prevent someone from scheduling a meeting without you having some time to be prepared first.
